As a motorcyclist since my teenage years the facination of motorized two wheel transportation has not only intrigued me but also thrilled me. I've ridden all types of motorcycles and aside from the huge adrenaline rush that crotch rockets provide, the maximum satisfaction I've derived comes from crusing along on a full dresser in the back country either in the springtime or fall.
I have been involved in technology most all of my life with a curiosity for radio communications sparked at an early age from being with my father in his ham shack.
I worked in electronics since leaving high school and was fortunate to land a job working for a producer of amatuer radio products. I got the bug to study but could not get into morse code so I settled for getting a comercial class FCC license.
Years later, after being invited to a Field Day event, the draw was too much and I applied myself to get my first ticket.
I was hooked and began to push the license higher till achieving Extra Class privileges.
I also started to obtain various pieces of radio equipment and began constructing lots of different antennas.
It seemed to make sense to bring these two hobbies together, so I began to run 'motorcycle mobile', and it proved to be a very good thing!
